OakvilleReverseMortgage.ca is published by Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial, an Ontario mortgage brokerage (licence #11711). In short, it gathers almost nothing about you.
What is gathered
- Nothing you would type into a form. No page here has a sign-up, a contact form or an account.
- The two tools work only on your device. Numbers and answers you enter in the calculator or the fit check are never transmitted, and closing the page wipes them.
- Routine hosting logs. Cloudflare, the web host, records ordinary technical details such as which page was requested and when, to keep the pages up and protected.
When you click an estimate button
Those buttons lead to a form on reversemortgagebroker.ca, the brokerage's main reverse mortgage website, and that site's privacy policy covers what you enter. A short code in the link records that the visit started on OakvilleReverseMortgage.ca, and on which page. It carries nothing about you personally.
If you email or phone
Your message is read and used only to reply and, when you ask for it, to arrange a mortgage. Your message is protected by the rules every licensed Ontario brokerage must follow, and by PIPEDA, Canada's private-sector privacy law.
